สำหรับผู้ที่ใช้ Windows Vista และ Windows 7 หลังจากติดตั้งโปแกรมเสร็จแล้วให้ทำดังนี้

1. คลิ๊กขวา (Right Click) ที่ไอคอน ShortCut ของโปรแกรมแผนที่บนหน้า Desktop แล้วเลือกเมนู Property

2. ไปที่ Tab -> Compatibility -> Compatibility Mode ให้เลือกกาเครื่องหมายถูกที่ช่อง Run this program in compatibility mode for "Windows XP SP2"

3. ให้เลือกกาเครื่องหมายถูกที่ช่อง Run this program as Administrator

4. กดปุ่ม OK

การตั้งค่าสิทธิผู้ใช้ User Permission เพื่อให้สามารถใช้งานโปรแกรมแผนที่ได้ ในกรณีที่มีการจำกัดสิทธิของ User โดยผู้ดูแลระบบ (Administrator)
1. ต้องตั้งค่า Permission ให้ User สามารถ อ่าน/เขียน (full access) ไฟล์ C:\Pdoxusrs.net ได้ หรือ ไปที่ Control Panel | BDE Administrator แล้วตั้งค่าตามรูป (click)
2. ต้องตั้งค่า Permission ให้ User สามารถ อ่าน/เขียน (full access) ทั้งโฟล์เดอร์ C:\Key-base ได้ (กรณีติดตั้งโปรแกรมในไดร์ฟ C)
3.ต้องตั้งค่า Permission ให้ User สามารถ อ่าน/เขียน (full access) ทั้งโฟล์เดอร์ของโปรแกรมได้ เช่น "C:\Program Files\Bangkok Guide\" (กรณีติดตั้งโปรแกรมในไดร์ฟ C)
4. หลังจากตั้งค่าตามข้อ 1-3 แล้ว ต้องรันโปรแกรมใน User acount ที่จะทำการใช้งานเท่านั้น จากนั้นจึงทำการลงทะเบียนกับเรา

ถ้าท่านประสบปัญหาใส่ Software License Key ไปแล้ว ใช้งานไปได้ระยะหนึ่ง โปรแกรมถามหา Software License Key อีก เนื่องจากสาเหตุมาจากปัญหาระบบ Prefetch ของตัว Window XP เอง ให้ท่านแก้ไขโดย download utility แก้ไข ดังนี้

Why do I need to re-register Map Software?
Windows creates a prefetch directory that is used to speed up access of certain programs. The drawback to prefetching is that XP will prefetch a program even if you use it only once or twice. XP will retain a copy of a portion of it in the Prefetch folder. From there, it will prefetch the program, taking resources from your workstation even though you may have no intention of ever using the program again. If you have enough unused or little-used items prefetching, over time your system and will actually run slower than if you never prefetched at all. This is especially evident on systems with limited resources.

With Map Software you are allowed to only have one copy per PC running and now you have two because of the extra one created in your prefetch folder. Because of this Map Software doesn't know which one to use or register. Below is a small program that will clean out your Prefetch Directory in Windows and over-all speed up your computer. We recommend that you also turn the prefetch feature off with this small utility and will cause no damage to you PC. After you install this small program and cleaned out your prefetch directory reboot your PC, start Map Software and then email us the new Software Registration ID.
